Udaipur
Udaipur was founded on the auspicious Aakhaa-Teej day of 1553 CE (Akshay Tritiya, Vaishaakh Sudi Teej, Saturday- April 15, 1553) by Maharaja Udai Singh 2nd as the new capital of Mewar kingdom.In 1567, Mughals attack Mewar and capture the Chittorgarh fort then Maharaja Udai Singh was built a 6-kilometer wall and there are 7 gates to protect the Udaipur from attacks, even today also it is known as the city of walls or Walled city in Rajasthan.
When the Mughal Empire became weak, Sisodia becomes independent and again capture Udaipur and other areas of Mewar except for Chittorgarh. Though Mughals tried to recapture Udaipur and its nearby areas it remained by the Sisodias until it became a princely state under British control.
It is situated in the Southern part of Rajasthan state and near the Gujarat border.

City Palace:-
City Palace is a famous tourist place in Udaipur and it was built by Rana Udai Mirza Singh at 1559. It is situated at the bank of Pichola Lake. The palace is famous for the Medival, Chinese and European style of Architecture. The Palace has Courtyards, Terraces, Pavilions, Hanging gardens and many more.
Maharana Uday Singh 2nd was inherited to get the Mewar kingdom at Chittor in 1537. At that time there were signs of losing control of the fort in wars with Mughals. Udai Singh 2nd choose the place near the bank of Pichola river for his new kingdom. Also, like the location, the place was well protected by the forests at all the sides it was also protected from the lakes and the Aravalli hills.
The earliest royal structure he built was the Royal Courtyard. which was the starting of City Palace. The court was built by the advice of a friar to build his new capital.
After Udai Singh's Death in 1572, his son Maharana Pratap hold the power of Udaipur on his shoulders. Maharana Pratap was defeated by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the battle of Haldighati in 1576. After the battle, Udaipur came under the Mughal Emperor. After the Death of Akbar, his son Jahangir become the new King of the Mughal emperor. Jahangir gave back Udaipur to Amar Singh. Amar Singh was the son of Maharana Pratap.

Lake Palace:-

Shilpgram:-
Shipgram is an art and craft complex. It is situated 3 km in the lap of Aravalli hills and west from the Udaipur city. It is set up in 70 acres of land. It is set up to promote the Indian traditional culture, art, and craft of Rajasthan. It also provides employment to the local peoples. visit Shilpgram to experience the simplicity of the village life. Shilpgram is a very famous tourist place in Udaipur. At Shilpgram you can take food at Shilpi restaurant, you can shop at Rural Art and Craft complex. Near the Art and Craft complex, you can visit two museums. Moti Magri:-
Moti Magri is a hill in India and it is a famous visited place in Udaipur. We can see Udaipur City from the Moti Margi Hill. Lake Pichola:-
Lake Pichola was created by Rana Udai Singh 2nd at 1362. The average of pollution parameters recorded at random intervals in 2005 as reported by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board in 2005 is that Dissolved Oxygen 6.33 mg/L, pH value no.8.27, BOD 2.66 mg/L, Nitrate 0.11 mg/L, Nitrite 0.0045 mg/L, Fecal coliform 16 MPN/100, and total Coliform 110 MPN/100.
The test found that the quality of water is not good and it proves that water is polluted and needs to remedial measures to be implemented to rectify the situation.

Jadish Mandir:-
Jadish Mandir was built in 1651, It is the Udaipur's largest temple. Bagore Ki Haveli:-
Bagore Ki Haveli is situated near Pichola Lake. It is built by Amar Chand Badwa, he was the Prime Minister of the Mewar kingdom from 1751 to 1778.Amar Chand Badwa was the Prime Minister during the reigns of Maharana Partap Singh 2nd, Raj Singh 2nd, Ari Singh, and Hamir Singh. During this time period, Amir Chand Badwa built the Bagore Ki Haveli.
After the death of Amar Chand Badwa, Bagore Ki Haveli was occupied by Nath Singh. Nath Singh was a relative of the present King Maharana Pratap Singh 2nd.
In 1878 Maharaja Shakti Singh of Bagore built a triple-arched gateway but the property remained under the Mewar royal family until 1947.
Bagore Ki Haveli became the most visited place in Udaipur.

Saheliyon Ki Bari:-
Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden for friends/ companions) is built by Sangam Singam 2nd for his queen and her maids. The king made the garden himself. The king designed himself so that his queen can be relaxed there with her maids.The garden today also serves its purpose in many ways and people reach the garden to escape from the crude of the world.
It became the most famous tourist place in Udaipur and mostly the women came to visit Udaipur, they definitely visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, because it made for the women.

Lake Garden Palace:-
Lake Palace is situated on an island of Pichola Lake, there are two islands in the Lake Pichola. The Lake was initially created in the mid of the 15th century by a local Banjara tribe.
Lake Garden Palace became the most visited place in Udaipur because the garden is situated between the lake. It makes the garden the most famous tourist place in Udaipur.
The construction of the palace was started in 1551 by Maharana Amar Singh and was completed by Maharana Jagat Singh. It named as Jagat Mandir in respect of the King Jagat Singh.
You can only reach to the Lake Garden Palace via the boat from the Bansi Ghat Jetty.

Vintage Car Museum:-
It has some of the rarest classic or Vintage car collection. The museum is owned by Mr. Arvind Singh Mewar. Arvind Singh Mewar is an Indian businessman and chairman of the HRH group of hotels.
The Vintage Car Museum was opened for the public on 15 February 2000. It was inaugurated by Lord Montagu. Lord Montagu is the founder of the National Motor Museum in England. Many people came from out of India and of India also came to visit Udaipur to click pictures with the collections of old cars.
The Vintage Car Museum has around 20 cars. There are 4 Rolls-Royce's, 2 Cadillacs, 1 MG-TC convertible, 1 Ford convertible, etc.
