The border of Bikaner touches to Marwar and Jaisalmer regions in the south and in the east, it touches to Ajmer-Merwara region.

The founder of Bikaner was Rao Bika in 1488. He was the son of Maharaja Rao Jodha. He belongs to the Rathore clan of Jodhpur. Rao Jodha was the founder of Jodhpur.

From the childhood of Rao Bika, he wants to make his own kingdom. He never wants to inherit the kingdom of his father he always wants to stand on his own qualification.

Before to situate Bikaner the Jangladesh was a path in between the trade path of Surat and Mid-Asia.

Bika built a fort in 1478, which is now in ruins and almost 100 years later a new fort was built was named as Junagarh.

During the 16th century, Raja Rai Singh has accepted the Mughal empire's suzerainty.

By air:- Jodhpur Airport is the nearest airport to Bikaner, located around 251 km away from the city. From the airport, you can board a bus or hire a taxi to reach Bikaner.

By road:- Regular buses from Delhi, Jodhpur, Agra, Ajmer, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Udaipur and Kota are available for Bikaner.

The Bharatpur is known as Lohagrah. The royal house of Bharatpur was situated in 11th century AD.

By air:- The nearest airport is situated at Agra, which is 56kms from Bharatpur. Delhi is 184kms from Bharatpur.

By train:- Regular rail services connect Bharatpur with all the major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Agra. The Bharatpur railway station is about 5 km from the park/bird sanctuary.

By road:- An excellent network of roads connects Bharatpur to all the major cities of the Rajasthan and the neighboring states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana. Bharatpur is well connected by road from Agra (56-km, 1 hour), Delhi (184-km, 4 hours) and Jaipur (176-km, 3 hours).

In ancient times the many local tribes were living in Bundi but the Meena were prominent. The Bundi was founded by Raja Bunda Singh Meena. Then in history, Bundi was known as Bunda-ka-Nal.

Bundi is situated in the Aravalli hills in Rajasthan.

Later Rao Deva Hada defeats Jaita Meena and started to govern Bundi from 1342. Hadas was the squire of the Sisodia's of Mewar. They rule with the title of Rao till 1569.

Meena tribe rule at Bundi till 1342 after the Hada dynasty started to rule on Bundi.

After 1818, Bundi came under British rule and become a princely state.

At the time of the partition of India in 1947, the Britishers ask Maharao Bahadur Singh (1945–77) that he want to be independent or include in India/Pakistan. Maharao Bahadur Singh decided to include in India And become a part of the Republic of India.

How to reach Bundi:-

By air:- The Sanganer Airport of Jaipur is the nearest airport to Bundi. Sanganer airport is at a distance of approximately 200 kilometers from Bundi. One can take a taxi to travel between Bundi and the airport. This airport is well connected with various major cities of India through frequent flights.

By train: -Kota Railway Station is the nearest railway station to the city. It is at a distance of 35 kilometers. Various trains play between Kota railway station and other railway stations of major Indian cities. One can take a taxi or bus to reach the Kota railway station.

By road:- Bundi is well connected through a network of roads. It is at a distance of 35 kilometers from Kota and nearly 200 kilometers from Jaipur. Other important cities that are accessible from here include Jaipur, Ajmer, Agra, and New Delhi, which are situated at a distance of 170 KM, 155 KM, 310 KM, and 390 KM respectively. Chittorgarh:-

The Chittorgarh or Chittor fort is one of the largest forts in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Chittorgarh fort was constructed by Chitrangad Mori of the Maurya dynasty in the 7th century A.D. Later, Bappa Rawal, the founder of the Mewar dynasty, made Chittorgarh his capital.

From the 7th century, the fort was controlled by the Mewar kingdom from till the 13th century. The fort was ruled by the Parmara dynasty.

In 1303 Alauddin Khilji(Turki ruler of Delhi) defeat Rana Ratan Singh at the fort.

In 1535 the sultan of Gujarat Bahadur Shah defeat Bikrmjeet Singh and took the fort under his rule.

In 1567 Akbar defeat Maharaja Udai Singh.

After these following battles, the women were committed to Jauhar so that the foreign attackers cannot rape.

Chittorgarh, located in the southern part of the state of Rajasthan, 233 km from Ajmer, midway between Delhi and Mumbai on the National Highway 8 (India) in the road network of Golden Quadrilateral. Chittorgarh is situated where National Highways No. 76 & 79 intersect.

In 2013 the 37th session of the world heritage committee held in Cambodia. Chittorgarh fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also, five other forts also declare as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as a group called Hill Forts of Rajasthan.

How to reach Chittorgarh:-

By air:- Even though Chittorgarh is an extremely popular tourist place in Rajasthan, it does not have an airport of its own. The Dabok Airport in Udaipur serves as a springboard for tourists who are interested in visiting Chittorgarh by air. Leading airlines in India such as Jet Airways, SpiceJet, IndiGo, Air India, connect Udaipur Airport to other big cities in India such as New Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, etc. Tourists can take a flight to New Delhi and then board a direct flight to Udaipur when traveling from other parts of the country. You can then hire a cab from Udaipur or board a state tourism bus to reach Chittorgarh.

By bus:- Chittorgarh is well connected to major cities in Rajasthan such as Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc. and other cities in the neighboring states such as New Delhi, Ahmadabad, Indore, etc. by road. Apart from the state-run buses, Shrinath Travel Agency, Kalpana Travels, Rajlaxmi Travels, Welcome Travel Agency, Shreeji Travel Agency, Kailash Travels, and Parshwanath Travels are some of the primary private tours and travels operators that provide bus services between these cities.
The distance between New Delhi and Chittorgarh is 566 km and it takes about 10 hours to cover the distance. Whereas, to reach Ahmadabad from Chittorgarh, you have to travel for around 7 hours and cover about 370 km.

By train:- Chittorgarh Junction is the main station connecting Chittorgarh with other cities. It is situated on the broad gauge line and is one of the largest railway junctions in Southern Rajasthan.

The construction of Jaipur was started in 1727 and it took 4 years to the Places. The city was constructed into 9 blocks where 2 blocks were for royal places and 7 blocks were allotted to the public.

At that time the architecture of Jaipur was very advanced and certainly, it was the best architecture in the Indian sub-continent.

How to reach Jaipur:-

By air:- The Sanganer Airport is the nearest domestic and international airbase to Jaipur. The airport has one terminal, namely Terminal 2 that serves both domestic and international carriers. Carriers such as Air Asia India, Air India, Goair, SpiceJet, IndiGo and Jet Airways operate regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai for Jaipur. International airlines like Air Arabia, Air-India Express, Etihad Airways, and Oman Air have flights for Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat. After reaching the airport, travelers can hire a taxi or cab to reach anywhere in the city.

By road:- One of the easiest and reasonable ways of reaching Jaipur is by bus. The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) provides regular Volvo and deluxe buses between Jaipur and neighboring cities. Buses link Jaipur with several cities like Kota (257 km), Delhi (296 km), Udaipur (410 km), Ahmedabad (675 km) and Ajmer (135 km). Those driving from Delhi can reach Jaipur in about 5 to 6 hours, via NH 8 route.

By train:- The beautiful city has its own railhead, Jaipur Railway Station, which is well linked with major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Patna, Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Bhopal, Lucknow, Hyderabad, and Goa, among others. Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan.

After the death of Rao Jodha, Chandrasen Rathore in 1581 took the responsibility of the kingdom on his shoulders. After the Mughal emperor, Akbar annexed the Marwar.

During the British rule, the Jodhpur state had the largest area in the Rajputana The land area of the state was 93,424 km2 (36,071 sq mi) its population in 1901 was 44,73,759.

In 1947 when India was independent the state was merged into India and become the 2nd largest city of Rajasthan.

At the time of division, the ruler of Jodhpur, Hanwant Singh, did not want to join India, but finally, due to the effective persuasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Home Minister at the time, the state of Jodhpur was included in the Indian Republic. Later after the State Reorganisation Act, 1956 it was included in Rajasthan and become the 2nd largest city of Rajasthan.

It is also known as the Blue city of India.

Jodhpur is declared as the 2nd Metropolitan city of Rajasthan when it crosses one million population.

How to reach Jodhpur:-

By air:- Jodhpur has its own domestic airport, which is located around 5 km from the city center. Flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Udaipur, and other important Indian cities serve Jodhpur on a daily basis. Cabs and autos are available outside the airport and can be hired to travel to any part of the city.

By road:- Direct buses from Delhi and Jaipur made road connectivity with Jodhpur convenient. Government run Volvo coaches as well as numerous private deluxe and luxury buses are available in this route. Udaipur was founded on the auspicious Aakhaa-Teej day of 1553 CE (Akshay Tritiya, Vaishaakh Sudi Teej, Saturday- April 15, 1553) by Maharaja Udai Singh 2nd as the new capital of Mewar kingdom.

By train:- The local railway station is located inside the city limits. The Udaipur railway station is connected with almost all cities of Rajasthan and with important cities around the country.
