About Jaipur:-
Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan which is the largest state of India and also known as Pink city. Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1727. Before situated in Jaipur the capital of Jai Singh was Amber. Amber is 10km far from Jaipur. he felt to shift his capital due to the increase in population and lack of water.On 6 July 2019 Jaipar is included in UNESCO world heritage. The prime minister of India Shri Narendra Modi tweeted that "Jaipur is a city associated with culture and valour. Elegant and energetic, Jaipur's hospitality draws people from all over. Glad that this city has been inscribed as a World Heritage Site by @UNESCO,".
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehalot tweeted that "It is a matter of great pride that our Pink City, Jaipur has been declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. It will add to the glory of capital city of Rajasthan,".
Jai Singh was interested in mathematics due to this he took advice from Vidyadhar Bhattacharya form Bengal. Vidyadhar Bhattacharya was a brahmin scholar and was a great mathematician of the 16 century. The architecture of Jaipur is based on the ancient Indian literature on astronomy.
The construction of Jaipur was started in 1727 and it took 4 years to the Places. The city was constructed into 9 blocks where 2 blocks were for royal places and 7 blocks were allotted to the public.
At that time the architecture of Jaipur was very advanced and certainly, it was the best architecture in the Indian sub-continent.
In 1876 the Jaipur whole was painted Pink because the Prince of Whales visits Jaipur first time due to this it was known as Pink city. Painted of pink provides a magical and charming look to the city. Jaipur is rich in its cultural and architectural beauty.

Amer fort:-
The major places to visit in Jaipur include Amer fort also which is located in Amer, Jaipur. It is located approximately 11 km from Jaipur. It is located on the hills. It is the most attractive place in Jaipur. The first choice of tourists in Jaipur is to visit Amer Fort.Amer was originally situated by Meenas, later Raja Maan Singh ruled on Amer. It is a very beautiful fort known for its artistic style elements. Maota Lake is the main source of water for Amer Palace.
It is constructed by red stone and marble. It is a famous place to visit in Jaipur
There is a courtyard in the palace. It consists of Diwan-e-Aam or "Hall of Public Audience", the Diwan-e-Khas or "Hall of Private Audience", the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), or Jai Mandir, and the Sukh Niwas where a cool climate is artificially created by winds that blow over a water cascade within the palace.
Amer fort is also knowns as Amer place. The palace was the residence of the Royal family of Amer
This palace is located above the CHEEL-KA-TILLA(hill of Eagle) of the same Aravalli range of hills. Annual tourist visitation to the Amer Palace was reported by the Superintendent of the Department of Archaeology and Museums as 5000 visitors a day. At the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2013, Amer Fort, along with five other forts of Rajasthan has declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.
Amer derives its name from the Ambikeshwar Temple, built at the top of Cheel ka Teela. Ambikashwara is a local name of god Shiva. Some local folklore suggests that the fort derives its name from Amba, the Mother Goddess Durga.
Amer Palace is situated on a forested hill promontory that juts into Maota Lake near the town of Amer, about 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from Jaipur city, the capital of Rajasthan.
Jaigarh fort:-
Jaigarh Fort is situated at Cheel-ka-Tila(Hill of Eagles) Of the Aravalli range of hills. We can easily see Amer Fort and the Maota lake from the Jaigrah fort. The most famous places to visit in Jaipur also include Jaigarh Fort. It is one of the famous places to visit near Jaipur because it is situated in Amer, near Jaipur.Amer is only 11km far from Jaipur.
The Maota lake is also found near the Jaigrah fort. The Jaigarh Fort is also designed similar to Amer Fort. The Jaigarh Fort is also known as the symbol of victory. So, it is known as "the victory for". The length of Jaigrah fort is about 3 km (1.9 miles) and the width is 1 km (0.62 miles).
Amer was known as the Dhundhar in ancient history or medieval period. Dhundhar means attributed to a sacrificial mount in the western frontiers.
During the time of Saha Jahan from Mughal dynasty, The ruler of Jai Garh fort made one of the world's most efficient cannon due to the abundance of iron ore mines in the vicinity of the fort by the discovery of the canon Jaigarh fort become the most visited place in Rajasthan.
In 1720 when the canon was manufactured then it named as Jaivana canon.
When the canon was made then this the time to test the canon then the canon was fired only once with a charge of 100 kg of gunpowder and when fired covered a distance of about 35 km.
Nahargarh fort:-
Nahargarh Fort is the most famous visited place in India. Nahargarh Fort is situated near the edge of Aravalli hills. Along with Amer fort and Jaigarh fort, Nahargarh fort was also made for the main moto to defense the Jaipur city.The Nahargarh fort was built in 1734 By Maharaja Jai Singh the king of Jaipur. The walls are spread above the hills. The forming fortification that connected this fort to Jaigarh, The fort above the old capital of Amer.
However, the fort never faces any war but it faces something more than it that it saw the accord with Maratha forces who warred with Jaipur in the 18th century. During the 1857 revolt, the women and children of Britishers were going under the protection of Raja Swai Ram Singh, the king of Jaipur.
The fort was extended in 1868, during the time of Swai Ram Singh. From 1883 to 1892, a range of places was built at Nahargarh by Dirgh Patel at a cost of approximate 350000.

Jal Mahal:-
Jal Mahal means water palace it is situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. The palace was reconstructed in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh, The king of Jaipur.The Jal Mahal palace is an architectural showcase of the old Indian style of architecture on a grand scale.
The palace is built by red sandstone, the palace is storied building, There are four floors remain underwater when the lake is full fill of water and the top floor is exposed, is of the east India type.
The Jal Mahal is situated at Maan Sagar lake. We can easily reach to lake by the Jaipur-Delhi NH 8, from a road distance of km 4 from the Jaipur city. Delhi is 273 km far from Jaipur, Jaipur is being centrally located in Rajasthan, the NH no. 8 not link only Delhi but it also links Mumbai. Flits are also available in Jaipur by the Jaipur international airport. The lake is 8 KM far from Amer place.
The Jal Mahal place is not open for visitors.
Hawa Mahal:-
Hawa Mahal (The palace of winds) is a place in Jaipur. It is the most famous place in India to visit. Hawa Mahal is constructed from red and pink sandstone.The place was built by Maharaja Swai Pratap Singh in 1799. He was so inspired by the Khetri Mahal that he built. Hawa Mahal was designed by Lalchand Ustad. It has five unique floors. It has 953 small windows Jharokhas. The windows are decorated with small intricate lattice.
The original purpose to make the lattice was to allow royal ladies to observe everything which was happening in the street.
This architectural feature also allowed cool air from the Venturi effect to pass through the lattice. Thus it makes the whole place cool during the high temperature in summer this is also a big reason to make it a very famous place to visit in Rajasthan, especially in summer.
Most of the tourist see the Hawa Mahal from the street view and think it is the front of the palace, but the reality it is the back of that structure.
The palace is located in the south of Jaipur city, near Badi Chaupaf. Jaipur city is well connected by road, rail, and air with the rest of the country. Sanganer International. The distance between Sanganer International Airport and Hawa Mahal is 12.2 km via Jawahar Lal Nehru (JLN) road.
Entry to the Hawa Mahal is from the rear end not from the front side.
City Palace:-
From 1947 Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. till 1949 the city palace was the ceremonial and administrative seat of the king of the Jaipur.
Today the City Palace is the Museum of the Maharaja Swai Man Singh 2nd and it is a very famous and popular visiting site in the Jaipur.
It is the home of the Jaipur royal family. It has several buildings, various courtyards, galleries, restaurants, and offices of museum trust. The Maharaja Swai Maan Singh 2nd museum trust looks after the museum.
The palace is located in the very center of Jaipur city i.e. we can also say that it is located at the heart of Jaipur city. The city of city place is closely linked with the Jaipur city and the rulers of Jaipur, from the starting with the Maharaja Swai Jai Singh 2nd (1699-1744). From starting he ruled from his capital at Amer, which is far from Jaipur at 11 km. He Shifted his capital from Amer to Jaipur in 1727. He shifted his capital because of the increase of population and lack of water was also occurring.

Birla Mandir:-
Birla Mandir is a Hindu god temple. Birla Mandir is built by the Birla family in different cities. The Birla Mandir is a very famous place to visit in Jaipur. All Birla temples are magnificently built with the use of White and red marble. The Birla Mandir of Jaipur is built by the white marble.Birla Mandir is located near Jaipur development authority(JDA) or Rajasthan University at Jawahar Lal Nehru(JLN) road, Jaipur.
The Birla temple of Jaipur is the main temple of Narayana(Vishnu) and the three goddesses who are mother Durga, mother Lakshmi and mother Sarasvati
The temple is located at a prominent location. Carefully designed to accommodate a large number of visitors.
The first Birla temple was built in 1939 in Delhi collectively BY Ghanshyamdas Birla and his brothers. The later temple has been built and managed by different branches of the Birla family.
Later the temples are built of marble or sandstone and are constructed in the classical style Chandela or Chaulukya of the 10-12th century. The Saraswati temple of BITS Pilani campus is one of the very few Sarasvati temple built in modern times.
Jantar Mantar:-
The Jantar Mantar monument in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh 2nd and the construction of Jantar Mantar was completed in 1734.Jantar Mantar is an amazing place to visit in Jaipur because it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is located near City Palace and Hawa Mahal. The main feature of Jantar Mantar is to observe of astronomical position with the naked eyes.
The name of Jantar Mantar is derived from the Sanskrit language. In Sanskrit, Jantar means Yantra(instrument) and the Mantar means Mantra(consult, calculate). Therefore, it means "calculating instrument".
Jai Singh noticed that the Zij used in his time, especially the predictions of the position of celestial objects such as the moon, did not match the positions of calculated on the table. He constructed five new observatories in different cities in order to create a more accurate ZIJ. The astronomical tables Jai Singh created, The ZIJ-I Muhammad Shahi was continuously used in India for a century although the table had little significance outside of India.
When Jai Singh began construction in Jaipur is unknown but some instruments had been built by 1728 and the construction of the instruction in Jaipur continued until 1738. During 1735 when construction was going to be complete, at least 23 astronomers were getting employment in Jaipur and due to changing the political climate, Jaipur replaced Delhi as Jai Singh's main observatory and remained Jai Singh's central observatory till his death in 1743
Albert Hall Museum:-
Albert Hall Museum is located at Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is the oldest museum in the Rajasthan state. The Albert Hall Museum is located near the Ramniwash garden. It is also called the Government central museum.The building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob, assisted by Mir Tujumool Hoosein and was opened as a public museum in 1887. Maharaja Ram Singh initially wanted this building to be a town hall, but his successor, Madho Singh 2nd, decided it should be a museum for the art of Jaipur and included as part of the new Ram Niwash garden.
It is named after King Albert Edward 7th, who visit the city as the prince of Wales, its foundation stone was laid on 6 February 1876.
The museum has a rich collection of artifacts including paintings, Jewelry, Carpets, envoy, stones, metal sculptures and works in crystal. The collection includes coins from the Gupta dynasty, Kishan, Delhi Sultanate, Mughal and the British periods.
It is the most famous place to visit in Jaipur. People of western countries are mostly want to visit Rajasthan in the season of winter.

The Sanganer Airport is the nearest domestic and international airbase to Jaipur. The airport has one terminal, namely Terminal 2 that serves both domestic and international carriers. Carriers such as Air Asia India, Air India, Goair, SpiceJet, IndiGo and Jet Airways operate regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai for Jaipur. International airlines like Air Arabia, Air-India Express, Etihad Airways, and Oman Air have flights for Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat. After reaching the airport, travelers can hire a taxi or cab to reach anywhere in the city.
